Oluwole Popoola, MD, MPH., FASAM
Psychiatrist | Addiction Medicine Specialist
Dr. Oluwole Popoola brings a rare depth and breadth of experience to mental health care. He is dual board-certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, uniquely positioning him to treat complex conditions where mental health and substance use intersect.
Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Popoola served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, where he trained medical students and residents. His clinical approach is grounded in real-world experience; early in his career, he worked as a psychiatric case manager and housing support specialist, gaining firsthand insight into the social and environmental factors that influence recovery.
This background informs his holistic, patient-centered philosophy of care—one that recognizes effective treatment extends beyond medication alone, and must be built on stability, support, and a strong therapeutic alliance. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Popoola leads a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals struggling with homelessness and substance use successfully reintegrate into society. He also advocates for policies that strengthen access to mental health care, support the behavioral health workforce, and reduce stigma, reflecting his commitment to improving care both at the individual and system levels

Dr. Taiye Popoola combines the precision of a researcher with the heart of a clinician. She is Double Board-Certified in General Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine, with specialized certification in Perinatal Mental Health. This allows her to treat a wide spectrum of needs—from insomnia and sleep apnea to the unique mental health challenges women face during and after pregnancy.
In addition to her medical degree, Dr. T holds a Ph.D. in Health Services Research. This background allows her to navigate the broader healthcare system effectively for her patients, ensuring no detail is overlooked. Known for her astute clinical judgment and detail-oriented nature, Dr. T is deeply invested in the long-term well-being of every patient she treats.
Ifeoluwa Olapojoye
Lead TMS Specialist
Ifeoluwa Olapojoye leads the TMS Therapy department at Zoe Psychiatry & Sleep Medicine, bringing both technical expertise and deep compassion to patient care. For individuals suffering from Treatment-Resistant Depression, the TMS chair is a place of hope, and Ifeoluwa ensures that hope is met with the highest standard of care.
She is responsible for the precise administration of magnetic pulses to stimulate mood-regulating areas of the brain, strictly following the protocols designed by Dr. Oluwole Popoola. Beyond the technology, Ifeoluwa serves as a dedicated support system for our patients, monitoring their progress and ensuring their comfort throughout the 6-week treatment course. Her dedication helps patients in Allen and Collin County reclaim their lives from depression.
